"A
Question Of Identity : Rune 1: The Self" - Reika is fixing a bed and
speaking to ZigZag in a dream, and asks about who she is. She wakes up in a
prison bed, with the wake up alarm sounding. / Darren speaks to Captain
Prescott about his goals for the project, and thanks her for Marla Cheney. 2
Hannah gives him a basic rundown of the status of the prison. 1 / Darren goes
over with Ryan about the old section of the prison and security concerns. 2
Marla sets up her office and Father Caine checks in with her. 2 Darren meets
with Dr. Calais Brightpaw, and is frustrated to learn she is only in training,
and a full doctor will only visit periodically. 2 Helmeted commandoes make an
assessment of their base, and construct a list of names. 1 / Nikolai asks to speak
to Father Caine, and is granted an audience. 2 Ryan and several of his guards
wrestle with Tafka and get him into his cell. Afterwards, Calais treats his minor wounds
and is told more about atavism. 3 Reika is brought in for a physical exam, and
she resists the contact. 2 // Darren shares his knowledge of the Kai'Rin with
his staff, and it eventually becomes clear most of them know Kathris. 2 Calais talks to Darren about
how the subdermal devices will track the prisoners, but no external control
mechanism could withstand combat. And forcing them would be illegal. 2 Darren
meets with Reika, Nikolai, and Tafka in the prisoner common room, and discusses
his proposal. 2 Nikolai readily agrees, and Tafka is wary. Reika agrees on a
condition that he locate a friend for her. 1 / ZigZag comes to speak to Reika,
and the two talk about how she got where she is. 2 Father Caine speaks to
Darren about what ZigZag does, and Darren is mildly surprised. 2 Marla talks to
Ryan about setting up regular visitor policies and such in regards to the
special prisoners. 2 / Ryan talks to Idania about who he is, and if she ever
regrets marrying him. 2 Darren is walking outside on the perimeter with Calais, and they think they
hear something. The helmeted commandos are at the prison, conducting scans.

"The
Tunnel : Rune 2 : Partnership" - Marla and Darren talk to each other about
the feasibility of merging Tafka into the program. / Darren discusses with Ryan
and Father Caine of a report about an old railway tunnel near the prison, and
the disappearances. 2 Caine presents the mission to Reika and Nikolai, and they
accept. 1 / Tafka is looked over by Calais with Ryan's help, and
after determining he is in perfect health, they discuss asking Father Caine for
methods of calming him. 2 Tafka sits in a corner and is approached by Reika
with a bright smile on her face, but barely responds. 1 Marla brings the maps
and schematics of the tunnel to the situation room and they go over them. 2
Reika and Nikolai go in and radio back the situation, but one disappears, and
all that remains is the recorder. 2 / Hannah analyzes the recorder and can find
no trace of where Reika went. 2 Tafka comes to Darren and asks he be allowed to
search for her, telling him he can control his beast. 2 Tafka goes in and
listens until he hears a demon with Reika in a hidden chamber in the back of
the tunnel. He kills it, and they return. 2 (September) (2)
"Arisen
: Rune 3 : Signals" - The Commando leader talks to one of his soldiers
about Reika, and getting their hands on her again. / Father Caine is acting as
mentor to Reika while she patrols, and at a loss for words while she slays. 2
She goes off privately with ZigZag that they encounter while slaying, and they
talk a bit more about how things are. 1 / Nikolai asks Darren to be allowed to
continue his research on the Kai'Rin Zodiacs inside the prison, and is granted
a small library and lab. 2 Calais asks Darren how long he
intends to send the prisoners on patrol with chaperones. 2 Marla tells Darren
ZigZag has requested to be posted to the frequent visitor list, and would like
an appointment with him. 1 Reika patrols with Ryan this time, and is surprised
when the commandos attack them. There are odd temporal effects in the air. 2 /
Ryan makes his report to Darren, and asks that Ryan begin cataloguing where
these commandos appear. 2 Reika talks to Nikolai about the commandos, and how
she wonders if this has something to do with the people that put him away. 2
The Commando leader and his soldiers talk about how Reika is in Keristal
Prison, and they'll get to her in time. (September) (3)
"Chain
Reaction : Rune 4 : Separation" - Marla is having a wonderful morning, and
on her desk she finds a notice saying her father has died and left her
everything. / She speaks with Father Caine and asks for some time off. 2 Darren
and Ryan arrive with boxes of her father's things, and Darren offers his
condolences. 1 / Marla finds a locket from her mother among the collections,
and is surprised to see Nikolai on her doorstep. The locket glows, and they
kiss. 2 Reika asks Tafka and Calais if they've seen where
Nikolai is. The tracking implant reports him at Marla's home. 2 Nikolai and
Marla have obviously had sex, and now are wearing black leather outfits and
cause trouble in town. 2 Hannah comes to Darren to report this odd behavior. 1
/ Ryan and Caine root through her inheritance and find an envelope that held
the locket. Caine finds out its secret. 2 Nikolai and Marla break into a
warehouse and start to try to form a gang, but Caine and Ryan break in and
smash the locket. 2 Marla explains to Nikolai how the locket ended up in her
father's possession, and they part awkwardly. (September) (4)
"The
Power Within : Rune 5 : Strength" - While installing new equipment in the
prison, Hannah is nearly crushed by a large piece of equipment. Tafka uses his
brute strength to keep her from being crushed. / Rita comes to speak to Darren
about her concerns on Tafka versus the rest of the prison population. 2 Calais discusses with Caine that
it may be a good idea for them to determine the exact nature of Tafka's atavism
and the limits to his power. 1 / Rita talks to Reika, and after trading
insults, Reika decks the elk. 2 Caine speaks to her about maintaining
discipline in her current situation. 2 Calais analyzes Tafka again
while healing Rita, and Tafka nearly loses it while the elk complains. 2
Nikolai suggests to Caine that meditation may help to calm Tafka. 1 / Marla
comes to see Darren and tells him she needs more time to cope. 2 Caine talks to
Nikolai about what happened with the locket. 2 Tafka confesses to Calais about what turned him
