No theme song was ever selected for this series.
The Crew:
Captain Kathris Reinhardt: (Season 1 - 7) A male tiger shifter, Kathris is unusual in a number of ways. First, his base form is an anthro tiger, rather than the usual human form. Secondly, his hairstyle consists of black hair that changes color into blond at about neck level. He assumes his first command in charge of this facility with his best friend and his girlfriend at his side.
Commander Rikan Griswald: (Season 1 - 7) A male anthro lion, Rikan is Simba’s son and Kathris’s best friend. The two grew up together and are practically related. They are intensely loyal to each other, and have almost always attempted to serve on the same assignments. Rikan is both the security chief and the first officer of the Vanskar facility.
Lieutenant Commander Wade Wilding: (Season 1 - 7) Wade is a weretigress. She is famously known for two things. Both her ability to fix almost any conventional technology, and her inability to keep anything at all a secret. Though often the gossip queen, she is more than dependable if you need anything fixed faster than you knew it was broken. She is also an expert in propulsion technologies.
Lieutenant Halifax ‘Hali’ Devane: (Season 1 - 7) Also known by the moniker ‘Sly The Magnificent’, Hali is a vixen with a talent for painting and art. She is romantically involved with Captain Reinhardt, and comes from a family that would suffer a heart attack if they knew she was dating a tiger. Trained as a pilot, she often works as support staff in the command center.
Professor Simba Griswald: (Season 1 - 7) Basically the father of the entire crew, Simba is the oldest civilian member on staff. An expert in demonology and ancient artifacts, if it’s otherworldly, Simba will know about it. He prefers books to datapads, and wears traditional reading glasses instead of having ocular surgery. He is an old fashioned and dignified lion, and tries to pass on his values to the younger members of the crew.
Lieutenant Alexis Blake: (Season 1 - 7) An Esper and a Varish knight, she serves as the counselor of the crew. Though her crew doesn’t know it yet, she is one of the most powerful Espers alive, and has numerous connections to her government. She is highly skilled in the use of her powers and the single hilt Varish energy blade.
Cloud: (Season 3 - 7) Raised on an island floating in the heavens, Cloud has never seen anyone outside of her people, never mind a walking talking tiger man. When Kathris arrives in her village, she believes him to be her spirit guide, and follows him back to Vanskar to learn from him. She is believed to be nearly immortal, due to the Chaos Water present on her island.
Doctor Arandis Scott: (Season 1 - 2.11, Season 5 - 7)
Doctor Arandis Scott was the chief medical officer of Vanskar. She is trained
in most magical forms of healing as well as conventional
Lieutenant Summer Ramzey: (Season 1 - 7) Summer is Rikan’s girlfriend, and the operations officer on the crew. She comes from a long line of vampire slayers in her family, and this seemed like the perfect place to utilize all of her talents. In addition to her vampire slaying heritage, she has access to a number of rare volumes in her family library that others would not have access to.
Zeitgeist: Renaissance
The Overview: Twenty years after Captain Reinhardt and his mission, Captain Skylar Prescott and the ACS Sentinel have been sent out to reestablish control over their territory after a brutal 5 year war with the energy beings known as the Phantoms.
The Ship: The ACS Sentinel is a medium sized cruiser with a flight deck in the forward saucer section capable of holding and launching up to 50 fighter craft, 10 at a time. It is a top of the line ship with the finest weapons available, and a crew complement of 250. The Theme Song:
Though I don’t know the name of the song, it was the opening theme to From The Earth To The Moon, selected because I felt it was appropriate to taking the franchise into space for the first time.
The Crew:
Captain Skylar Prescott: (Season 1 – 7) Hand picked and trained by Admiral Kathris Reinhardt, Skylar is his protégé in every way. She is very loyal, dedicated, and eager, and brings along for her first command her husband, Aaron Prescott, and her intelligent son, Willis Prescott, who are both civilians. Trained as a fighter pilot, she has never before commanded a starship, and she hopes to use this chance to prove herself to Kathris. She is a brown vixen.
Commander Kardis Brenner: (Season 1 – 7) A female squirrel, Kardis was requested by Captain Prescott because of her military background. Skylar’s strong right arm, she quickly develops a useful working rapport with the woman, and the two work well anticipating each other’s moves. Her last posting having been a ground assignment, she looks forward to moving out into space.
Lieutenant Alexander Archer: (Season 1 – 7) The large anthro bear has known Skylar for several years in her career. The two are very close, and were thought at one point to possibly become intimately involved. He collects projectile rifles, and is very physically intimidating, though friendly, which is why he is very good at his job.
Lieutenant Commander Kaiden Rennek: (Season 1 - 7) An iguana who has a minor fear of small spaces, he serves as the Chief Engineer of the ship. He works closely with the flight squad, and is good friends with the ship’s flight commander.
Lieutenant Kristania Adelaide: (Season 1 – 7) A wereskunk and daughter of Pascal Adelaide, she serves as the operations officer on the bridge of the ship. Young and inexperienced, she is taking this on with her graduating classmates as her first assignment.
Ensign Miriah Griswald: (Season 1 – 7) Rikan and Summer’s daughter, she has trained to become the primary pilot of the ACS Sentinel. This is her first space assignment, though she had spent some time training with her parents on Earth slaying demons. Now on her own, she is eager to test herself.
Pilot Tigerfox Reinhardt: (Season 1-7) Tigerfox is Kathris and Hali’s son, and he is the Flight Commander. It is his duty to command and manage the five flight squadrons, and handle any combat operations related thereto. He has often been given special treatment due to his father’s reputation, but he is working to earn a reputation of his own.
Doctor Steven MacKenzie: (Season 1-7) Doctor MacKenzie is an Esper, trained in mental therapy and conventional healing techniques. He is often whimsical, searching for something to satisfy his frequently changing urges, such as women, pets, and theatre.
Harken Maris: (Season 1 – 4.20) A male griffin pilot, he is relatively secretive and quiet when he comes on board. He spends most of his time servicing his fighter craft.
Sidney Scott: (Season 2-7) A female rabbit and Adair
Scott’s daughter, she is assigned as
Zeitgeist: Captured Hearts
The Overview: Searching for the next generation of Kai’Rin in an effort to make them a force for good, Director Darren Van Der Croix assumes command of the Keristal Prison Facility. As his first regular duty assignment in many years, he is not certain what to expect, but what he will find is both his past and his future colliding into one.
The Facility: Keristal Prison is a retrofitted prison building. There are wings for the crew of 300 regular crewmembers, and approximately 200 additional personnel live nearby and commute to the facility via transporter or walking. There are several modern wings of prison cells, named A – K. There are several additional wings with antiquated bars and vastly outdated construction methods which are being updated to modern standards. There is a central courtyard open to the sky, and an area open for future expansion and construction. The facility has moderately powerful shielding, and four orbital defense cannons, as well as a number of ground mounted defense plasma beam emitters.

The Theme Song:
No official theme song had been selected, though the opening song for Final Fantasy Tactics had been considered as an intro, and it was thought that a rapid song would be most appropriate for the show.

Ryan is noted for his extreme loyalty, and excellent tactical knowledge. He serves as both the first officer and security chief.
Lieutenant Hannah Reinhardt: (Season 1 – 10) A tiger shifter/fox hybrid, Hannah is Kathris’s daughter and Tigerfox’s younger sister. She, unlike her brother, possesses her father’s shape-shifting ability. Her previous assignment was serving as a phantom expert, before she became an expert engineer. She is extremely determined and loyal.
Doctor Calais Brightpaw: (Season 1 – 7)
Ensign Marla Cheney: (Season 1 – 10) Formerly the human night shift pilot of the ACS Sentinel, she transferred to Keristal Prison to serve as the Records And Information Officer, handling prisoner records. After serving on a starship, she accepted the ground assignment with the hopes of earning a promotion to Lieutenant.
Tafka: (Season 1 – 2) An atavist male lion, he has completely surrendered his mind to his animal instincts. He speaks little, though he clearly does still have enough mental faculties to understand English.

The Theme Song:
Season 1 - 7: “Boulevard Of Broken Dreams” by Green Day, selected for the feel of the song. I think it matched the characters well.
Season 1 – 7: (Alternate) “Buffy The Vampire Theme” by Nerf Herder, chosen because I felt it would score well with the opening sequence.
The Cast:
Valerie Dessler: (Season 1 – 7) A mare, she is a trained soldier and a magic user, and has been searching for her former partner for some time. She shares a living space with Brandy, a young female tigerskunk. Intent on protecting the innocent and becoming stronger, much of her energy is diverted to these two goals. She carries a sword of unknown and ancient origin, with an ancient writing on the blade.
Patrick Hayes: (Season 1 – 7) A distinguished male unicorn with golden hair, he is the foremost heir to Hayes Bauer Incorporated. They are currently servicing the Axis, providing them with defense and weapons technology. He is not the only heir, and has had numerous attempts on his life since he took an official position at the company. He has been given sword training by his father.
Brandy: (Season 1 – 7) ZigZag’s younger sister, she has a special gift for music and dance, and becomes a very popular singer. Though she is also a tigerskunk, her fur pattern is an inverted skunk, thus her colors are reversed. She also accidentally gains ice powers that she cannot control, and must work to learn how to manage them.
Connor O’Hallery: (Season 1-3) Originally from 1920’s Irish America, Connor ended up in our time while trying to save his fiance in the 20’s from her unalterable death. After seeing the future and warning the current time about the Axis, eventually he stayed after believing it was futile to keep trying to restore the life he lost.
Colonel Ivy Vionne: (Season 1 – 7) Ivy came from the future, 200 years after the present time, and had initially arrived with Chronos and the Axis army. One of the talismans she obtains restores them, but at a cost.

Zeitgeist: Allixis
The Overview: This series follows the story of Captain Jonathan Arahan, recently reassigned to the ASV Allixis by an Admiral that wants him to fail in his mission.
The Ship:
The Allixis is a retrofitted Axis Straw Man class ship, with solar sails
instead of an impulse drive, space for a crew of 50, and only two transporter
pads. Left over from the fleet the Axis had secretly built, after the two
governments reunited, the Axis fleet was retrofitted and repainted with
The
The Theme Song:
Season 1-4 : “Where My Heart Will Take Me” by Russell Watson, selected because I thought it really represented Captain Arahan’s journey from where he is to being a respectable man.
Season 5-7 : “Ballad Of Serenity” by Sonny Rhodes, selected because I felt that with a new captain, the show should have a different feel. I also appreciated the refusal to give up the freedom of flight, which is a significant part of Captain Jackson’s character.
The Crew:
Captain Jonathan Arahan – (Season 1 – 4) A male human, reckless and a womanizer. He's got a girlfriend on every planet, an estranged wife and daughter he never sees, and he's the only captain that was court martialed less than six months after getting his first command. His most recent assignments include commanding a cargo ship (Series 2) and serving in the daredevil flight squadron Red Wing.
Commander Gellik – (Season 1 – 7) A Vahrain first
officer, very concerned with duty, and he wears a Vahrain uniform rather than
the
Lieutenant Commander Tony Ringtail – (Season 1 – 7) The chief engineer of the ship, a male raccoon. Tony is good-natured, and knows the details of the ship inside and out, even with it's less than advanced technology. He oversees the Engineering department and keeps a close eye on his cousin Patch.

Lieutenant Cassandra Kelly – (Season 5.13 – Season 7) She is a female tigress science officer that studies spatial anomalies and their effects on planetary atmospheres. She has been known to be tempestuous, and used to serve with Captain Jackson Croft. Her immediately preceding commander was Captain Amanda Beck of the ADC Archimedes.
Ensign Sabrina Schlie – (Season 1-7) She is the pilot of the ship, an Esper. She hides her Esper status because she is one of the rare Espers that has the ability of precognition. Espers that are found to have this ability, one in a million or more, are often conscripted into special units for their ability to see the future. Precognitive power usually requires so much psychic energy that having this ability forsakes all others usually held by Espers.
Ensign Patch Ringtail – (Season 1.16 – Season 5.6) Patch is Tony's cousin, a young and idealistic girl of a raccoon. Tony often feels very protective of her, because she's gotten herself into trouble more than once by accident.
Kuro St. James – (Season 4-7) A former Axis renegade, he became part of the crew almost by accident, and soon fell in love with Security Chief Kesra Sailey. In time, he became a useful member of the crew as part of its security staff, serving as an enlisted crewmember. He is an anthro fox.

The Theme Song:
Season 1 – 4: “Broken” by Seether and Amy Lee, selected because it felt to me like the perfect theme song. The goal of this show was to get the cast and their lives as messed up as possible, and this seemed to fit the show.
Season 5 – 7: “Someday” by Chad Kroeger, chosen because it felt like it fit the theme of working back towards where they were supposed to be, and becoming a cohesive team.
The Cast:
Nikki Cole: (Season 1 – 7) A female red panda, she was assigned to lead the research team, though the bulk of her expertise was in demon fighting. Since the area was known for a great deal of demon activity, it was likely appropriate. Nikki has a moderately serious relationship with Scott Kerran.

she specialized in holistic medicine, and is an expert
Weylon Ashmore ‘Ash’: (Season 1 – 7) A bookish male human, he is extremely intelligent, but has little actual demon fighting experience. As a matter of fact, he has almost no combat training, but he has a great deal of experience in a library setting.

Lakota: (Season 1 – 6.13) After serving with Director Darren Van Der Croix, he moved on to follow the whims of his life and ended up working with Nikki Cole and battling evil alongside her, though he would soon come to wonder if he made the right choice by following her.
Allaris: (Season 1 – 7) An Ancient, released from her sarcophagus where she was resting for many millenia, and she is now intent on recapturing what was once hers, the entire world and everything in it. She appears human, but has green tints in her hair, and has crystalline eyes. She is also super strong, and possesses the ability to control magnetism and electricity.
Sayenne Kristo: (Season 2.14 – 7) A Varish Knight and an expert in memory, she originally was called to help deal with the Allaris situation. She returned as Nikki’s mentor, and is one of the finest swordsmen in the universe. She fights with two blue Varish energy blades, one in each hand, and has a very fluid style. She is an expert in Esper powers, and can quickly switch from one style of sword fighting to another.
Topaz: (Season 2.14 – 7) A young siamese kitten, 16 years of age, she was placed in Ash’s custody when her parents were both killed. She is interested in dancing and acting, and hopes one day to do that for a living. She is very optimistic and a very sweet girl, despite the loss of both of her parents. She has an older brother named Starr.
Scott Kerran: (Season 2 – 3, Season 6.14 – 7) Nikki’s first love interest, Scott is a fellow demon fighter. After some time of working with her, he gains interest in Natasha Husky, and ends up making a choice between the two women in his life. He is a tiger/panda cross breed.

Quinn is an expert at technology and inventing things.
Colin Barrett: (Season 4 – 7) A male bat who is seeking four objects of power known as the scions, he often drops in to search for them, and stop anyone who might misuse their power. He forms an interest in Nikki, though she only half returns it.
Sarelle St. Alden: (Season 5 – 7) The ultimate pinup vixen, she is an agent of Iridescence Incorporated. Though she appears delicate and feminine, she is clearly connected to a much stronger and darker power than can be obviously seen, and her strength is several times greater than normal for a fox her size. Even in high heels and a dress, she is a formidable opponent.
Commander Lilah Terrance: (Season 6.14 – 7) A female

Lauren Rivers: (Season 2 - 7) The sole ‘survivor’ of a near death experiment gone wrong, this female zebra was brought on board after their departure from Artemis 116. After being reunited with her body she began to exhibit two separate personalities, neither of which is definitively hers, and both are distinct from her ghost persona. One is clairvoyant, erratic, and an introvert with random bursts of violence or psychosis. The other is cold, aloof, and aristocratic, with occasional fits of power. Sayenne takes an interest in the research being conducted there, and as the only survivor, she is the only one that may even understand it.
